View a File in SHARE

A videographer wants to view the DepoView volume output she requested from TrialDirector 360 SYNC and sent to TrialDirector 360 SHARE.

The videographer can view any of the files she keeps in her TrialDirector 360 SHARE account. If the file she wants to view is a digital video transcript (DVT), the DVT will open in the external transcript viewer. If the file is an image or other file type that can be viewed in a browser, the file will open in another tab.

Note: If the browser cannot display the file, the videographer can click the download button.

To view a file, the videographer opens her SHARE account and uses the following steps:

  1. Select the file from the table.

    2. The videographer selects the file she wants to view.

  2. Click the View Item button.

    3. The videographer clicks the View Item button.

    Note: If the selected file has a status of Pending within the SHARE table, such as a DVT that is still in the process of being uploaded to the account, then the View Item button is disabled. The videographer cannot use the View Item button until the status changes.

Alternatively, the videographer can simply double-click the file she wants to view rather than selecting it and clicking the View Item button.
